VENTANA METROPOLITAN DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Ventana Metropolitan District, City of Fountain, El Paso County, Colorado (the “District”) will meet in regular session at the offices of the Ventana Metropolitan District Recreation Center, 11007 Hidden Prairie Parkway, Fountain, Colorado on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.

Given current events and advice and directives from state and federal agencies to avoid public gatherings due to public health concerns related to COVID 19, all Board members, consultants, and members of the public are encouraged to participate in the meeting via the above listed conferencing information.
At this meeting, it is anticipated that the Board will make a final determination to issue or refund general obligation indebtedness. Specifically, the District will consider the adoption of a resolution authorizing the issuance of its Limited Tax General Obligation Refunding and Improvement Bonds, Series 2022A in the aggregate principal amount of up to $8,000,000 and Subordinate Limited Tax General Obligation Bonds, Series 2022B in the aggregate principal amount of up to $7,000,000 or in the alternative a combined aggregate principal amount of up to $15,000,000 collectively and for the purpose of refunding prior obligations of the District and paying or reimbursing the costs of public improvements for the District. Pursuant to the Supplemental Public Securities Act: (i) no legal or equitable action brought with respect to any legislative acts or proceedings in connection with the authorization or issuance of such bonds may be commenced more than thirty days after the authorization of such bonds pursuant to the aforementioned resolution; and (ii) one or more of the members of the Board may participate in this meeting and may vote on the foregoing matters through a conference telephone or other telecommunication device. The Board will also take up other business as may be before the Board. This meeting is open to the public and may be continued to a later date. There will be at least one person present in person at the physical location posted on this notice,
