HBS Trash Services is your trash and recycling service provider. HBS Trash Services will provide two bins (one for trash and one with a yellow lid for recycling).

TRASH AND RECYCLING WILL BE PICKED UP WEEKLY ON THURSDAYS. HOLIDAYS WILL DELAY TRASH PICKUP BY ONE DAY.
ON YOUR COLLECTION DAY, please place your bins at the curb by 7:00 AM with the handles facing the house to ensure pick up. Please also be sure to leave at least 2 ft of clearance between each bin and surrounding items such as mailboxes, extra bags, etc. You are allowed 3 extra trash bags per weekly trash pick-up. Please make sure there is at least 4 ft of clearance between your bins and nearby vehicles. If you frequently have more than 3 extra bags of trash, you may rent an additional cart for $5/month.
RECYCLING:
Recycling is picked up weekly. Please use the trash bin with yellow lid for recycling. For a guide to recycling, please click here. If you would like to opt out of recycling services, please contact WSDM District Managers at (719) 447-1777.
LARGE ITEMS AND ADDITIONAL BAGS:
Residents must contact HBS directly to coordinate and pay for disposal of large items such as furniture or waste in excess of the permitted 3 additional bags.

TRASH AND RECYCLE SERVICE DUES:
Resolution Re Trash Service Fees (August 2022)
$50.55 per quarter ($16.85 per month for two trash bins).
Quarterly billing will occur at the beginning of each of the following months; January, April, July, and October. Payments are prorated depending upon move-in/move-out.

Trash and Recycling services are provided by HBS Trash Services and managed by WSDM District Managers. New homeowners are automatically registered for trash and recycling services after move-in. Trash pick up is on THURSDAY and your new bins will be delivered the Wednesday before your first week of pick up. Holidays will delay trash pick-up by one day.
